We are proud to showcase the very first lot from our new partnership with UNEX. Finca Plan del Hoyo is owned by UNEX CEO Francisco de Sola and is 100 hectares, of which 14 hectares has all 60,000 trees. He explains “UNEX exists to create value not only for the roasters that import Salvadoran coffee, but also the farmers, their respective communities, and the environment.” The Anacafe 14 varietal is a cross of Pacamara and a Catimor coffee. Francisco believes in the future of specialty coffee and is invested in producing exceptional coffees in Apaneca.
