La Tina is owned and managed by long term friend and well known coffee producer Don Fabio. Don Fabio has developed his own fertilizers which he applies to his small plants at the nursery and flowering plants at the farm. This aids in the maturation and development of his coffees and contributes greatly to the overall cup profiles. Don Fabio explains it’s like pregnant mums and newborn babies each needing their own unique recipes of nutrition and nurture to thrive after harvest. Don Fabios’ daughter Marysabel and her husband Moises help to manage La Tina.
